Galaxy clusters are one of the largest gravitationally bound structures in the universe known to scientists. By modelling how gravitational structures interact with each other, we can also understand its structure and dynamics. This paper is an in depth study about the Centaurus cluster’s galaxies’ morphology, colour, velocity distribution and redshift. The Virial Theorem is applied in order to estimate the mass of the Centaurus Cluster.
